This can save you hundreds, even thousands of dollars in the long run. Many of our clients are ecstatic to do their own updates. No more waiting for your web designer to make a minor text change or add a photo! And no more monthly costs incurred other than your web hosting fees. Along with the basic training we also provide on-going phone support. Should you run into a problem while trying to do your own updates we are just a phone call away.
VERY Important Notes about Updating Your Website
*NOTE: We do not use Content Management Systems (CMS) as they require the client to pay a monthly fee which can become costly over time. If you wish to make your own changes we do recommend that you purchase the Microsoft Expressions Web program as this is the program we will use to build your site. Once you purchase the program, you own it and will not incur any other monthly expenses to update your website.
**NOTE: If you opt to have training, we will teach you the basics so that you may change your text or photos. Due to the copyright of our graphics, any major changes to the design or layout (including altering the menu to add new pages or making any CSS changes with the font size, styles and colors), will still be maintained by our office. If you make any alterations to the site without our permission and it requires our time to fix / repair the errors, it will be your responsibility to pay for any costs incurred.
